Thank you, DVD player

Where The West Wing and Arrested Development went wrong: actually being good. This is network television, after all.

Oh, come on! I don't think you can even begin to make the argument that The West Wing of this season is even remotely comparable to The West Wing of yesteryear. The show stumbled when Sorkin left and has never really regained its footing. It wasn't canceled because it was still good, like Arrested Development (which I never liked, but which its fans seem to think was still producing good TV). The West Wing was canceled ecause it sucks.

And I'm not sure where my "b" went, but clearly I meant because.

It's gone downhill recently, yes, but I don't think it's exactly jumped the shark yet. It's still multiple times above and beyond anything that Commander in Chief can offer right now.

Oh, well. At least we still have Boston Legal. For now.

Last I heard, ABC and Showtime were looking at picking up "Arrested Development." Hopefully the latter, since the show was practically made for the better placement and promotion shows get on premium channels.

I think you're all being very selfish. What about "That 70's Show" fans? What will ever become of the Tatter Nuts Legion?
