Meanwhile, we still have no state fungus

State Sen. Pat Lindsey, D-Butler, thinks Alabama needs to have an official state mammal. He recommends the black bear.

I don't know that we have a state arthropod either...

Hubby and I were just discussing the craziness of making a state mammal out of something that has practically been extirpated from the state.

I sir do take much offense at the idea of a black bear being the state mammal of our fine, godfearing state.

Next thing you know, they'll be a wanting to attend our schools and whistling at our women without expecting some buckshot upside their nostril.
