Can't sleep; clown will eat me

It's that thing about not being able to see the clown's real expression. Sure, he has a big smile painted on, but is he really smiling? [shudder]

And some clowns are creepier than others. Two clowns at a charity event several years ago made my kids recoil in fright. When I looked closer, I saw that they both had applied their greasepaint make-up over scruffy beard stubble (not a good look), and they both had long, dirty fingernails. SO very wrong.

We beat it out of there. No kid needs a balloon animal that badly.

Their ability to pack so tightly into little cars probably has something to do with it, too. If they can fit into a space that small, where might they be hiding in your house?
