I ask the questions no one else cares about

What would happen if they put on a bowl game and no one was eligible to come? Seriously, I want answers.

And if Hoover beats the sixth- or seventh-best team in the MAC, should it get automatic NCAA membership? I see potential here.

The Birmingham Bowl. This really should be a war crime.

1-AA teams? We could see, say, La Tech versus Alabama State.

The I-AA idea could happen. The champions of the MEAC and the SWAC (or the next best team if the champion chose the playoffs instead) used to play in the Heritage Bowl in Atlanta, and the game was nationally televised and pretty well attended. A bowl with Alabama A&M or Alabama State taking on a I-A school would draw a huge crowd in Birmingham.

Still, I think the NCAA would grant a one-time free pass to a team with a losing record before it'd tell the bowl to take a I-AA team. North Texas got an exemption a few years back when it won the Sun Belt with a 5-6 record, so there's a precedent for that kind of thing.

There's always King's idea, too, though it sounds better suited for an MXC episode.
