I'd watch

An Alabama-Florida State football game in 2007? Rock.

The bad news is that it'd be a one-time event in Jacksonville, Fla., which would give FSU a virtual home game without any kind of reciprocity requirement. The good news is that the game would draw huge national attention that could justify the sacrifice.

The Birmingham News also reports that the Crimson Tide is considering games against Duke and Tulane, which don't interest me, and games against Army, Georgia Tech, and Navy, which do.

This would be a much needed improvement over the rudy-poot teams that most schools are gonna play with that extra game. I don't think the location is really "neutral", butit is close enough, I would kill for tickets to this game.

PS Bobby would fall over and DIE if he played Alabama HERE. For the sake of an old man's health, Jacksonville is a better option.

(Although it would probably be more FUN in Tuscaloosa or Tallahassee. But not for the coaches! Man.)

I AM SO EXCITED!

You know what I'd watch? Duke, Tulane and your mother.

That would be hot.

We have not filled our quota of drowned Yellow Jackets in quite sometime. Georgia Tech is a must.

True enough -- Bama v. GT should become a regular thing again. Though I'm too young to remember such a thing, reading Bear Bryant's recollections on being pelted with beer bottles in Atlanta (and his thoughts that he hated Atlanta -- red meat for a B'ham native) makes me think that it's been long overdue that the Tide and Yellow Jackets should tangle, annually.
