Hey, the story was easy to miss

Alabama Republican Party chairwoman Twinkle Andress Cavanaugh said Saturday that she expects "the new group of legislators," in The Huntsville Times' words, will have to react to the U.S. Supreme Court's eminent domain ruling in Kelo v. City of New London. That should surprise the current legislators who are about to do just that during next week's special session.

Listen, Twinkle's just there for eye candy, she ain't there for thinkin' or payin' attention.

some news report was saying the The Kennedy Center was a good example of eminent domain being used; but with the kelo decision shouldn't The Kennedy Center be replaced by something that generates taxes?

Stan, all Kelo did was leave it to states and cities to define "public use." I think the Kennedy Center is a pretty clear example of a public use, so I'm not sure what you're saying.
